Miu Miu Summer Club celebrates women with star guest Gigi Hadid

This Wednesday evening, the Miu Miu Summer Club event took place in Malibu. After Miu Miu Nuit Club in New York at the end of 2021, the Miu Miu Select and Miu Miu Women's Tales versions, this unique event was designed to celebrate the muses of the Italian fashion house and its community of women.

A month after revealing its new campaign for the Arcadie bag with Los-Angeles based model Gigi Hadid, Miu Miu continued its journey in California by inviting its favorite customers, journalists and celebrities from Los Angeles to come and party at Malibu Pier, California's tourist landmark, famous for its iconic dual towers and Surfrider Beach.
 
Never before privatized, Malibu Pier was transformed for the evening into a chic and elegant funfair party for around 500 guests, who were invited to cross the pier and stop off at ice cream stands, oyster stands and lobster rolls stands. Tarot reading sessions were offered, 3 claw machines caught balls filled with pink flowers, and at the three cocktail bars, an army of bartenders in white polo shirts, white sneakers and navy blue shorts served the evening's star cocktail, the Miu Miu Pier Paloma with tequila and grapefruit. 

In the crowd, Muccia Prada's Miu Miu style was everywhere, with some guests opting for pumps with socks, pleated dresses, very short skirts or oversized jacket combinations with navy blue and white jersey bralette top, a sign of the house's sexy and cheeky allure. 

Miu Miu's muse, Gigi Hadid, appeared early in the evening, and joined the VIP area at the top of the towers, quickly followed by actress Joey King, Maddie Ziegler, Halle Bailey, Miranda July, Skao Jackson, Zaya Wade and artist Nadia Lee Cohen. In her boat's captain cabin, DJ Georgia Gets By played a few swaying tunes, and no one went over the railings, concluding a chic and beautiful evening. 

Miu Miu now has a Los Angeles store-in-store at Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills and a corner at Dover Street Market LA. The Italian brand will open its new store on Rodeo Drive in spring 2024.
