The Gallery at Oak Hammock at the University of Florida curates three or four exhibitions annually, each three to six months in duration. Since 2010, it has showcased 2-dimensional art from several hundred regional and local professional artists, beginning- to highly-experienced hobbyists and school children.
Our large exhibition space surrounds a magnificent atrium garden and ample space for studying and enjoying the significant efforts of a highly diverse cadre of artists.

The Art Scene at Oak Hammock
Art is an integral part of the culture of Oak Hammock. Works from the residents’ private collections adorn almost every hallway. The Art League at Oak Hammock sponsors multiple events throughout the year and supports The Gallery in mounting multiple exhibitions annually. More than 75 residents are involved in creating paintings in oil, pastel, and watercolor, digital and film photography, clay, textiles, jewelry, stained glass and wood. Many others are also involved in the performance of musical masterpieces.
